Bangalore Police has rescued the stock market investor who was kidnapped from MG Road, one of the busiest parts of the capital. In this much-talked-about case of kidnapping in Karnataka, a ransom amount of Rs 5 crore had been demanded by the kidnappers. He expressed gratitude to Bangalore Police, saying, "I feel like I have got a second life. Salutes to Bangalore Police." The investor, in particular, thanked Police Commissioner B Dayanand, DCP, and the people of Bangalore Halusuru Crime Branch.

Upon the complaint about the kidnapping of one stock market investor from a posh area, the police arrested two people. The search for other people involved in the abduction is on.

The police said that the incident occurred on June 16, and came to light only on Sunday. In a social media post, the victim Ajmeera Raju said, "The Bangalore Police have rescued me.".

He said, "Unknown people kidnapped me from Mahatma Gandhi Road Bangalore at midnight on June 16 and took me to some forest in Telangana.' He further said that police left him off within 48 hours of his kidnapping. The police have shared the CCTV footage of the kidnapping. Within one viral social media clip, 8-10 people are seen being tied in a car. After being released from the clutches of kidnappers, Raju said, "No criminal can escape from Bangalore Police. Bangalore city is the safest city! Jai Hind.". Investor Ajmeera Raju remains in the limelight because of his lavish lifestyle. He continues to make headlines, be it his luxury car, trips abroad, or photos clicked with cricketers. Before getting kidnapped, he was staying for 6-7 days in a private hotel in MG Road, Bangalore.

The police said that the accused had hatched a conspiracy to abduct Raju by following him on social media. He was kidnapped after being followed when he went to have dinner with his friend on June 16. He was taken to a farmhouse in Telangana, and he has also been beaten. The kidnappers wanted Rs 5 crore and bitcoins as ransom for his release. Following a complaint by Raju's friend, the police registered a case and managed to rescue him.
