Health insurance coverage is now going to be enjoyed not only by the parents but also by the unborn baby. Bajaj General Insurance has launched a health insurance plan for the unborn baby. It is called Fetal Flourish. It is a plan for the health of the fetus. It costs a premium of ₹1,025. It provides coverage for 16 procedures for in-utero for women aged 18 to 45 years.

This scheme is available with the flagship schemes My Health Care Plan and Health Guard. Fetal Flourish is a combination of medical acumen and insurance design. This scheme is designed to address the requirements of prenatal care. This scheme is aimed at the protection of the unborn child. Till now, the entire cost of such procedures was being borne by the families because there was no specific scheme available.

Dr. Tapan Singhal, MD-CEO, Bajaj General Insurance, said, "Pregnancy is a deeply personal journey for every family, filled with hope, expectation, and a desire for the best interests of the child. Advances in fetal care have made early intervention possible, but the financial burden can make the experience even more difficult. This offering reflects our belief that care and protection should begin from the earliest stages of life."
