Apps can be removed from Play Store, they are grossly violating billing norms; Google warned

Google has sent a strong warning to businesses that do not adhere to its billing policies. Google said on Friday that a large number of businesses, including well-known ones, were not adhering to its billing policies.

It has been stated that action against these rules won't be hesitate to take place if they are not followed soon.

This information was provided by Google in a blog post. It has been made clear that certain Indian apps do not comply with its long-term policies. These apps, according to the report, comprise websites like Info Edge and Matrimony.com.

The report states that Info Edge founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani has confirmed receiving the notice from Google. He further said that the company is complying with Play Store policies.

Google said that currently, we have more than 2,00,000 Indian developers using Google Play who follow our policies. By doing this we can ensure that our platform is completely secure. Google expressed its regret and said that these developers comply with the payment policies of other app stores.

Google said that there are 10 already established companies which are not fulfilling the payment terms and conditions. If it remains like this then they can be removed from the Play Store.
