Apple MacBook Pro (2026) has been launched in India on Tuesday. It is the latest offering in the company's flagship series of laptops. The pre-orders will begin on the company's website later this week. The laptop is available in two colors and two screen sizes. It is powered by Apple's M5 Max and M5 Pro chips and supports a maximum of 64GB of RAM. The company provides a 12-megapixel webcam with Center Stage and Desk View.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro (2026) with M5 Pro chip is priced at ₹2,49,900 in India for the base variant with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The variant with the M5 Max chip is priced at ₹3,99,900. Customers can pay ₹1,000 more for this. The variant with the 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU will be available for ₹20,000. The 48GB RAM option will be available for ₹40,000 more, and the 2TB storage option will cost ₹40,000 more.

On the other hand, the 16-inch MacBook Pro (2026) with the M5 Pro chip is priced at ₹2,99,900. The model with the M5 Max processor is priced at ₹4,29,900. The 64GB RAM configuration costs ₹60,000 more, while customers can pay ₹100,000 more for the 4TB storage option. The MacBook Pro (2026) model with the top-of-the-line M5 Max processor, which has an 18-core CPU and 40-core GPU, costs ₹50,000 more.

The new MacBook Pro (2026) will be available for pre-order in India starting March 4th on the Apple India online store. The laptop is available in Silver and Space Black color options.

The MacBook Pro (2026) features a 16.2-inch (3,456 x 2,234 pixels) Liquid Retina XDR ProMotion display, which offers up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness, 1 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and the option of a nano-texture upgrade. It features a 12-megapixel webcam with Apple's Center Stage and Desk View support. It has up to 8TB of SSD storage and up to 128GB of RAM.

The M5 Pro chip variant of the MacBook Pro (2026) features an 18-core CPU with six 'Super Cores' and 12 performance cores, a 20-core GPU, neural accelerators, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and a 16-core Neural Engine. The M5 Max chip model, on the other hand, has the same configuration as the M5 Pro, with an 18-core CPU, a 40-core GPU, and the same features as the Pro processor. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Apple's N1 networking chip for connectivity.

The MacBook Pro (2026) has a 100Wh battery that supports 140W wired fast charging via a USB Type-C port. The company claims the laptop will deliver up to 24 hours of video playback over Wi-Fi and up to 17 hours of web browsing. It also has an SDXC card slot, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two Thunderbolt 5 ports. It also features Apple's backlit Magic Keyboard, an ambient light sensor, and a Touch ID sensor for security.
