On October 29, of last year, a former Air India pilot filed a complaint regarding this practice with the DGCA and the Civil Aviation Ministry. The pilot had been a commander on a B777. The airline was found to have violated regulations, according to the DGCA's investigation. It went on to say that the investigation had, at least on the surface, shown that the airline had not agreed. As a result, Air India Limited's responsible manager received a show-cause notice.
A statement issued by the DGCA said that the response to the show cause notice was duly examined about the conditions prescribed under the relevant statutory provisions and the performance limits prescribed in the key documents prescribed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Air India has been slapped with a hefty fine of ₹1.10 crore for safety violations amid several in-flight irregularities. DGCA said security violations occurred on some important long-distance routes.
IndiGo was recently fined ₹1.20 crore by the DGCA. On one of its flights, the occupants arrived at the roadside parking lot next to the aircraft and began to eat. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the minister of civil aviation, responded to this incident with strong feelings. added that this would not be permitted.
Some airports are in disarray because of fog. This resulted in numerous flights being cancelled or delayed. It is said that there are natural anomalies in this region of Scindia. Regretfully, we are powerless to influence these. These whims of nature are global in scope. Delhi is covered in a lot of fog. Any ecosystem involving civil aviation has some base stations, as you are all aware. When the base station is affected due to weather or some other event, it creates a cycle of unfortunate delays and cancellations throughout the system. Because of this, we have to make these decisions.
