During the AI Impact Summit, PM Modi held bilateral meetings with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, which is significant in terms of relations between two countries. The talks included discussions on a broad range of issues.
Sharing information on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi thanked the Finnish Prime Minister for his support towards the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA). He further stated that this would mark a new era in India and Europe relations. He further stated that the two nations aim at doubling their trade, thus further consolidating their economic relationship.

During the talks, an agreement was reached to enhance cooperation in forward-looking areas such as 6G, innovation, clean energy, biofuels, the circular economy, digitalization, and AI research. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to promoting ethical innovation, responsible AI, and technology-based solutions for sustainable development. Prime Minister Modi commended Finland's emerging efforts in the AI field and said that Indian talent can provide new impetus to bilateral cooperation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also praised the article by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, stating that the article reflects India's progress in AI and the strong India-Serbia relationship.
In his article, President Vucic mentioned his long-standing affection for India and said he was delighted to participate in the AI Impact Summit in Delhi. He commended India's pluralistic structure, diversity, and pace of development, stating that India's approach to AI focuses on real-world applications, ethical standards, and inclusive innovation.
He also said that he does not agree with the perception of India being underestimated globally in the field of AI and India's AI model linked to practical and social interests can play a guiding role in global technological development in the future.
