2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160 seen with digital instrument cluster, these connected features will be available

Bajaj Pulsar is a well-known name. When Bajaj Auto launched the new generation Pulsar, one of the complaints people had was that it lacked modern features like a fully digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 2024 Pulsar N160 model has been spotted at a dealership sporting a new digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity, suggesting Bajaj Auto has taken customer feedback seriously. 

There has been a complete redesign of the instrument cluster. The new tachometer is horizontally positioned and has replaced the old analogue one. Because of the black-out display, it ought to be readable in bright sunlight as well.

Along with these additional features, the instrument cluster shows the time, speedometer, distance to empty, gear position indicator, average fuel efficiency, and real-time fuel efficiency. Additionally, Bluetooth connectivity is available, displaying battery life, signal strength, and missed call and message alerts. Riders can use the new button on the left handlebar switchgear to toggle the information.

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 will still include an LED projector headlamp, an LED tail lamp with a glitter effect, and a USB port for charging mobile devices. Its turn signals are still halogen units, though.

The motorcycle's suspension is composed of a mono-shock in the back and a 37 mm telescopic unit up front. 230 mm discs in the back and 300 mm discs in the front are used for braking. A two-channel anti-lock braking system is available.

Except for the new instrument cluster, it is anticipated that the Bajaj Pulsar N160 will remain unchanged in terms of hardware. It will still have the same air-oil-cooled 164.82 cc engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 15.8 bhp at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque output of 14.65 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The gearbox on duty is a 5-speed unit.
