“You Behaved Rudely Yesterday!”: Rahul Gandhi’s Light Remark to Digvijay Singh Sparks Buzz
Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh recently praised the RSS-BJP relationship and advised the Congress to learn from it. Rahul Gandhi met him on Congress Foundation Day and sarcastically remarked, "You behaved rudely yesterday!" Sonia Gandhi was also present. This comment was made during tea and snacks at the party headquarters.
Recently, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh had advised the Congress Party on how it could learn from the tie-up between the RSS and the BJP. Yesterday, on the occasion of the Congress Foundation Day, he met Rahul Gandhi on the same issue.
According to Jagran sources, Rahul Gandhi, while shaking hands with Digvijay Singh, said, "You behaved rudely yesterday!" This prompted laughter from the leaders standing around Digvijay Singh. Sonia Gandhi was also present on the occasion. Following the Congress Foundation Day celebrations, tea and refreshments were arranged for the leaders at the party headquarters.
Digvijaya Singh and Rahul Gandhi drew closer during the event, and the latter made this comment. Digvijaya Singh had previously praised the alliance of the RSS and BJP when he referred to an old photograph featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani.

Just before the Congress Working Committee meeting on Saturday, he posted on social media, "I found this photo. It's very impressive. How a grassroots RSS volunteer, Jan Sangh, and a BJP worker, sitting on the ground at the feet of leaders, became the Chief Minister of a state and the Prime Minister of the country. This is the power of the organization. Jai Siya Ram."
However, Digvijaya Singh later clarified that he opposes the ideology of the RSS and PM Modi and had only praised the organization.
