Satyapal Singh was born in a middle-class farmer family in Khalaur village of Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh. After getting his primary education from the village Jatpura in the district, he started his own business in Anupshahar situated near his village and on the banks of the Ganges. Due to problems in the early days of his life, he had to leave his native village and come to Delhi, currently living as a permanent resident of the Faridabad district of Haryana.
