'We are forced to live a life like hell', student writes letter to CJI Chandrachud after IAS coaching accident
In the case of rainwater filling in the basement of an IAS coaching center in Delhi and three students drowning in it, a student has written a letter to CJI Chandrachud demanding action. In his letter, the student said that he is forced to live a life like hell in Delhi. He has also demanded protection of his fundamental rights from the CJI.
Three students drowned on Saturday evening due to rainwater filling in the basement of an IAS coaching center in the national capital Delhi. At the same time, now in this case, a student has written a letter to Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and drawn attention to the poor infrastructure in areas like Rajendra Nagar and Mukherjee Nagar.
Student Avinash Dubey has alleged in his letter to the CJI that he is forced to live a life like hell in Delhi. In his letter, the student has demanded action against the officials and others responsible for the death of three fellow students from CJI Chandrachud as well as protection of the fundamental rights of other students.
Avinash Dubey has mentioned the incident of drowning three students in the basement of a building. In his letter, the student appealed to the Chief Justice and wrote that areas like Mukherjee Nagar and Rajendra Nagar have been facing the problem of waterlogging every year for many years due to the negligence of the Municipal Corporation. We have to walk in knee-deep drain water. We have to live a hell-like life here to prepare for our exams. In his complaint, he said that flood and sewage water sometimes enter the houses as well.
At the same time, after the death of three students, the eyes of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) have now opened. After this tragic accident, the MCD has sealed 13 coaching centers in the old Rajinder Nagar area. All of them have been found violating the rules. Meanwhile, according to Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi, a team of the Municipal Corporation inspected several coaching centers in the area on Sunday and found out how many coaching centers in the area have classes in basements. The MCD found 13 such centers, which have now been sealed.
