Volkswagen, a German automaker can soon introduce a new SUV in the Indian market. As per the Jagran, know in which segment will the company bring the new SUV into the Indian market. Also, how powerful engine and features can be given in it and by when can the new SUV be launched by the company. However, no official information has been given by the company yet. 

The most choices in the Indian market are in the compact SUV segment. This segment sees many SUVs coming from Maruti, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, Nissan, and Renault. Skoda is also on course with the new SUV Skoda Kylaq on November 6. Amidst all this, Volkswagen will also raise the mercury by launching its SUV in this category.

Whereas Skoda has brought its SUV like Kylaq, Volkswagen is expected to bring its SUV too. It can be made on the same platform as used in the Skoda Kylaq. However, in design and look, it will differ from Skoda Kylaq.

No information has been given by the company about the new SUV yet, but it is expected that it can also be given a naturally aspirated and turbo petrol engine of one-liter capacity. Which is used by the company in Virtus and Taigun. Apart from this, the company can also give the option of a 1.5-liter engine in it.

As far as features are concerned, Volkswagen can also give very good options in its new SUV. With a single-tone interior, many big features can be given in the new SUV. In it, a fully digital instrument cluster, ambient light, one pane sunroof, steering mounted control, and wireless charger, connected light, LED, fog lamp, shark fin antenna, and roof rails can also be provided in the exterior.

As per the media reports, the company is yet to complete the development of its newest SUV. A situation like this suggests that it would be brought to the Indian market by the end of 2025 or 2026.
