Uproar over making a stand in the name of former BCCI President in Arun Jaitley Stadium, debate took place in the DDCA meeting

There is an uproar over making a stand in the name of former BCCI President CK Khanna at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the capital New Delhi. In the meeting of the Apex Council of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), a proposal was made to make a stand in the name of CK Khanna, who was the acting president of the board and vice-president of DDCA.

But the current Joint Secretary Rajan Manchanda and Director Ashok Sharma opened a front against him. A director who attended the meeting said that except for director Pradeep Agarwal, all members of the apex council were present in that meeting.

Some people were present in the DDCA campus while some were connected online. When the proposal was made in this, Manchanda said that the stand here should be only for the cricketer. No former official should have a stand. If this happens then a stand should be made in the name of former DDCA officials Sunil Dev and Sneh Bansal.

Another director Shyam Sharma said that there is only a gate in the name of Virender Sehwag. Their stand should be built in Arun Jaitley Stadium. If a stand is to be made, then it should be made in the name of Delhi players Ishant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ashish Nehra, and Rishabh Pant who have played for India.

Another director Ashok Sharma alias Mama spoke too much in protest. Two years have passed since the death of former cricketer and former DDCA Vice President Chetan Chauhan but till now a stand in his name has not been made. First, a stand will be made in Chetan's name.

If you want to make a stand in the name of CK, you will have to wait for two years. This enraged CK Khanna's wife and DDCA Vice President Shashi Khanna and she slammed Ashok Sharma. He asked what he wanted to say.

Khanna faction director Manjeet Singh favored making a stand. A former DDCA official said that it is being said that President Rohan Jaitley is in favor of the stand but the question is if he is in favor then why did he not give a veto? Why did you form a committee and put the matter on hold?
