Tilak Verma to lead India-A team, first clash with Pakistan
Emerging Teams Asia Cup: India will play its first match against Pakistan on October 19. This group also includes Oman and the United Arab Emirates. This will be the first time that this tournament will be played in T20 format.
Tilak Verma will lead India A in the Men's T20 Emerging Asia Cup, which begins on October 18. Apart from Tilak, who has played four ODIs and 16 T20s for India, the team also includes Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Chahar, both of whom have played international cricket.
The team also comprises Ayush Badoni, Nehal Wadhera, Prabhsimran Singh, and Anuj Rawat, all of whom shined during the IPL. At the same time, the bowling attack consists of R Sai Kishore, Hrithik Shaukeen, Rasikh Salam, Vaibhav Arora, and Aaqib Khan.
