International Cyber Fraud: People have received many fraudulent calls in recent days. These calls are made by cyber criminals operating from abroad through manipulation.

These days people are getting many fraud calls. These calls are made by cyber criminals operating from abroad, they are skilled in these cyber crimes. These are foreign numbers, but they appear to be Indian mobile numbers. The Ministry of Communications has now begun to disrupt the conspiracy of these cyber criminals who are based in other countries. A special system is being developed to prevent fake calls from abroad from reaching consumers. It is worth noting that over one crore calls from abroad are received each day for cybercrime or fraud.
Every day, approximately 45 lakh calls are blocked by telecom companies. According to the department, such a centralized system will be implemented soon, with the goal of completely preventing calls for cybercrime from abroad. Actually, cyber criminals based abroad use calling line identities to conceal their true identities.
According to the Department of Communications, the Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP) has been launched to combat cybercrime. So that the use of telecom resources for financial fraud and cybercrime can be prevented.
According to the department, consumers can help prevent cybercrime by reporting any suspicious calls or SMS on the Sanchar Sathi portal. Apart from this, consumers can register complaints here, from mobile phone theft to SIM and all other telecom service-related complaints.
