According to media reports, Curve EV may soon be introduced in the Indian market by Tata. Its production-ready version was showcased by the company at Bharat Mobility held in February 2024. Although it was its ICE version, but it is expected that after some time of its ICE variant, the company can also bring its electric version.

According to reports, the electric version of this coupe SUV is currently being tested by the company. Its electric variant will be introduced only once testing is completed. At present, it has been seen several times during testing. In which information about some of its features is available.

The coupe SUV's appearance will resemble both its electric punch and ICE version. which will feature a clamshell-shaped hood, split LED headlight setup, and an aggressive lower grille. It will feature LED taillights, sporty alloy wheels, and a roofline that resembles a coupe.

In comparison to the Nexon, the company plans to equip this mid-size electric coupe-style SUV with a larger battery pack and motor. which, with a full charge, can be driven for roughly 500 kilometers. The information indicates that a 50kWh battery may be installed in it. Aside from this, the motor that is built into the SUV has a 116-kilowatt capacity. It may include a motor and battery with an IP-67 rating that is liquid-cooled. However, no information has been given by the company regarding this yet.

The electric version of the Curve from the company will directly compete with the soon-to-come electric SUVs like the Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti EVX, and Citroen Basalt EV. According to the information, the company can present this SUV around the festive season.
