SC on NEET counseling The Supreme Court again refused to stay the process of NEET-UG 2024 counseling and issued a notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Supreme Court tagged the new petitions with the pending petitions and posted them for hearing on July 8.

The Supreme Court declined to ask for a stay of proceedings when considering a petition pertaining to NEET UG counseling. The court had declared that the counseling would go forward as well if the exam was not postponed. The court had said that we cannot stop it.

All pending cases in the High Court have already been stayed by the court, and a notice has been sent. The court further declared that an investigation would be carried out in the event that there was even 0.001 percent of negligence.
