Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has lost his place in the latest ICC T20I rankings as the series against Bangladesh approaches. He went a place down from his position to seventh spot with 199 rating points in ICC T20 International All-Rounder Rankings:. The development has come at a time when India are preparing for the home series against Bangladesh, starting with the first Test match in Chennai on September 19. Following which, the Indian team will play three-match T20 series against Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh tour will start in September and run into mid-October, beginning with two Test matches. The first Test will be at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from September 19 to 23 while the second Test will be staged at Green Park in Kanpur from September 27 to October 1. Following the Tests, the two countries will engage in a T20 International series.

The first match of the T20 International series will be held at New Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior on October 6, while the next one on October 9, will be at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The last and final match of the series will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on October 12th.
