South African captain Temba Bavuma returns in the Test series against Sri Lanka
South Africa vs Sri Lanka: The South Africa team has been announced for the upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka. Temba Bavuma, all-rounder Marco Johnson, and fast bowler Gerald Coetzee have returned to the team.
Due to an elbow injury, South African captain Temba Bavuma could not play in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. However, he is now ready to return to competitive cricket soon. Temba Bavuma has been an important middle-order player for the South African team. We have selected a 14-member team instead of the usual 15 to give the players who are under selection an opportunity to play first-class cricket for their respective provincial teams.
