Sinner beats Schoolket to reach third round of Australian Open 2025

Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner and Jasmine Paolini won their respective matches at the Australian Open 2025 on Thursday and reached the third round of the tournament. Defending champion and world number one player Sinner recovered from a poor start against 23-year-old Schoolket to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-1, 6-3 in the match.

Meanwhile, in the women's singles match, Italy's Jasmine Paolini displayed great speed and skill to beat Mexico's Renata Zarazua 6-2, 6-3. After the match, Paolini said, "I feel very lucky to play on this court. It is very warm here because of the lights. I am really happy for my first win here."
