Sirsa India, August 15: As part of the 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the National flag, the tricolour, a symbol of the country’s pride, was installed at Dera Sacha Sauda on Saturday as a part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. At the administrative block of the ashram, Ms. Honeypreet Insan, daughter of Revered Saint Dr Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, along with the members of the managing committee, including Dr. PR Nain, hoisted the tricolour and saluted it as a mark of respect for the brave soldiers of the country. During this, the national anthem was sung, and following this, a patriotic song sung by Revered Guru Ji was played while saluting the flag. Of note, the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda have taken up 142 works for humanitarian welfare as guided by the Revered Guru ji. The 142nd task includes followers installing and paying respect to the tricolour by saluting it in their respective homes.
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Revered Guru Ji sent the 11th spiritual letter to the followers and called for joining the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Through the letter, Revered Guru Ji urged the followers to join the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” that the country is celebrating to mark the 75th year of Independence by hoisting the tricolour on their houses. He requested them to share pictures and videos of them saluting the tricolour or waving it on social media to show respect to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices have given us freedom and the tricolour. In line with this call from Revered Guru Ji, the followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda have been continuously sharing pictures of them saluting the tricolour from their homes, vehicles, and establishments on social media. Apart from this, people are distributing tricolour flags for free to people and motivating them to hoist them in their homes.
