Renault is selling the new Renault Triber in the budget MPV segment in the Indian market. If you are planning to buy the base variant of this Renault car, how much EMI can you afford after paying a down payment of ₹2 lakh?

Renault launched the new model of the Triber in 2024. The base model of this MPV's ex-showroom price (Authentic Price of Renault Triber) is ₹5.76 lakh. If you buy this car in Delhi, you need to pay approximately ₹23,000 for RTO and approximately ₹28,000 for insurance. Then the on-road price of the Renault Tiber Authentic becomes approximately ₹6.27 lakh.

If you buy the Authentic variant of this car, the bank will finance it at the ex-showroom price only. In such a case, after making a down payment of ₹2 lakh, you will have to finance around ₹4.27 lakh from the bank. If you are given ₹4.27 lakh for seven years with 9% interest, then you will have to pay an EMI of ₹6,877 every month for the next seven years.

If you take a car loan of ₹4.27 lakh from the bank for seven years with an interest rate of 9%, then you will have to pay an EMI of ₹6,877 every month for seven years. In this case, you will pay around Rs 1.50 lakh as interest for the Renault Triber Authentic in seven years. After which, the total cost of your car including ex-showroom, on-road and interest will be around Rs 7.77 lakh.

Renault offers the Triber as a budget MPV. This car directly competes with budget MPV cars like Maruti Ertiga and Kia Carens in the market. Apart from this, it also faces competition from SUVs in the entry-level segment.
