One of the popular car brands in India, Hyundai, offers cars in different segments. One of its models, Hyundai Aura, falls in the compact sedan segment. If you are planning to purchase the base model of that particular car, what would be the EMI amount after paying a down payment of ₹100,000?

It offers the E model as its base model for the Aura car. The base model for this sedan is available at an ex-showroom price of ₹600,000. In Delhi, you would have to pay the following for this car: the ex-showroom price is ₹6 lakh, registration charges of around 24,000, and insurance costs of around 35,000, and its on-road price in Delhi would be around 6.77 lakh.

If you purchase the base variant of the Hyundai Aura, the bank will finance the ex-showroom price. Thus, after making a down payment of ₹1 lakh, you'll need to finance approximately ₹5.77 lakh from the bank. If the bank gives you ₹5.77 lakh for seven years at 9% interest, you'll have to pay an EMI of just ₹9,295 per month for the next seven years.

If you take a car loan of Rs 5.77 lakh from the bank for seven years with an interest rate of 9%, then you will have to pay an EMI of Rs 9295 every month for seven years. In this case, in seven years, you will pay around Rs 2.03 lakh as interest for the base variant of Hyundai Aura. After which the total price of your car including ex-showroom, on-road and interest will be around Rs 8.80 lakh.

Hyundai brings Aura in the compact sedan car segment. In this segment, it competes directly with cars like Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor and Honda Amaze.
