Ola Electric has launched its new motorcycle, Ola Roadster X, in India's marketplace. The car maker has priced its starting price at below Rs 75,000. That reaches its top model for about Rs 1 lakh. Ola Roadster X is a base model of India's new range of its EV (electric vehicle) maker's e-motorcycles. It is the cheapest electric motorcycle. That comes in a commuter motorcycle with a sporty stance. With its competitive pricing, Ola Electric aims to target India's ICE (internal combustion engine) powered 150 cc range of Roadster X bikes.

The Ola Roadster X has three variants for its battery packs. There is a base variant of the Ola Roadster X with a 2.5 kWh battery, and it is mentioned to have a range of 117 km on a full charge. There is a 3.5 kWh battery in its mid-spec model, and it is mentioned to have a range of 159 km on a full charge. There is its top-spec 4.5 kWh model, and it claims a range of 200 km in full charge.

The Ola Roadster X gets a single electric motor that generates a maximum power of 9.38 bhp across the range. With its three different battery pack options, it comes with three different top speed limits. With a 2.5 kWh battery pack, the Roadster X offers a top speed of 105 kmph. While with a 3.5 kWh battery pack, its top speed is 117 kmph. At the same time, with the top variant 4.5 kWh battery pack, it promises a top speed of 124 kmph.

The Roadster X features alloy wheels with a front disc and rear drum brake setup. Along with this, Ola offers a Combi Braking System (CBS) with brake-by-wire technology. The bike has telescopic forks at the front and dual shock suspension at the rear.

The new electric motorcycle is equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD screen powered by Ola MoveOS 5. Along with this, the Roadster X has features like turn-by-turn navigation, advanced region, cruise control, TPMS, and OTA updates. It includes three riding modes - Sports, Normal, and Eco.

Apart from this, the automaker has also introduced the new Roadster X+ which is available with 4.5 kWh battery and 9.1 kWh battery. They are priced around Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom and introductory.
