By making Delhi Assembly entirely digital and solar energy-enabled, Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta is all set to take another major step. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release a special postage stamp in honor of Vitthalbhai Patel. This postage stamp will be released during the conference of Assembly Speakers to be held in Delhi to commemorate the birth centenary of Vitthalbhai Patel, who became the first elected Speaker of the Central Legislative Assembly. Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta said that this postage stamp will be released by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in honor of the country's first Assembly Speaker.

He said that honoring parliamentary pioneers is not just remembering history, but also taking inspiration for the future. This release is being done in honor of Vitthalbhai Jhaverbhai Patel's historic role in nation-building. Vitthalbhai Patel graced the post of Speaker of the Central Legislative Assembly on 24 August 1925, creating history as a leading warrior of the freedom struggle and a strong parliamentary leader.
