On Tuesday, accused Tahawwur Rana had filed a petition against extradition in the Ninth Circuit Court, whose request was accepted by the court. Earlier in the Ninth Circuit, Rana was asked to present his arguments before October 10. Earlier, on August 18, the court had approved Rana's plea for a stay on extradition so that his appeal could be heard by the US appeals court.
