New Kia Seltos crosses 1 lakh unit booking mark in just 7 months, this variant is in highest demand

In August 2019, Kia debuted the Seltos, which has since produced more than six lakh units at the company's Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh. India sold about 75% of the total quantity.

Over a lakh Seltos units were sold by Kia in the 2023 calendar year, and the company reports that roughly half of all reservations came from new clients. An estimate states that in India, 40% of all customers bought the Level 2 ADAS-equipped model.

Furthermore, 80% of purchasers have chosen trims with sunroofs. Approximately 58% of consumers chose the petrol version, with the remaining customers favouring the diesel option. Out of all customers, 80% have purchased the top-spec models (HTK+ and higher).
