New Feature in WhatsApp Lets iPhone Users Send Stickers While Typing Emojis

There is a new feature in WhatsApp for iOS. This new feature will enable you to see and add stickers while you are typing emojis in a chat. In the iOS app, when you are typing an emoji in a chat, it will suggest stickers related to that emoji. This means you will be able to choose and send a sticker related to the emoji you are typing. Users can tap on an emoji to browse for similar stickers and send them. The app changelog states that it may take a few days for this feature to reach all users. Feature tracker WABateInfo spotted this feature in WhatsApp's iOS (26.8.75) update, before WhatsApp included it in the changelog for the next version, 26.8.76. We found that after updating to the latest version, this feature was already enabled.

Users can tap 'Show more results' to find more stickers, including those from third-party sticker packs. For example, typing a laughing emoji displays similar stickers with funny reactions, while a heart emoji displays love and affection stickers.

WhatsApp has also introduced several other features with recent updates. The company added a group message history feature last week, allowing new participants to see messages sent before joining the chat. Furthermore, the company is reportedly developing an optional premium subscription plan. This could come with additional customization and convenience features for paid users.
