While hearing the ongoing court case on the division in the Shiv Sena in the Supreme Court, the court asked some hard questions.

A bench comprising of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V. Mohana said that apart from constitutional institutions, political parties as well should maintain internal democracy.

The principle of democracy should not just be confined to institutions. While hearing the case, the Supreme Court posed queries regarding the new constitution of Shiv Sena and it appears that after these changes, the political party has turned into “one-man structure.”
