PM Modi inaugurated Sela Tunnel, said - Our vision for the development of North-East was Ashtalakshmi
Sela Tunnel is the longest tunnel built at the highest altitude in the world (13000 feet). This double-lane all-weather tunnel will connect the West Kaming and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh. This is the only route to reach LAC.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Arunachal Pradesh today. In Itanagar, Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu welcomed PM Modi by giving him a gift. PM Modi inaugurated the Sela Tunnel here. Apart from this he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects in the North East. A large number of people gathered in this program.

The Sela Tunnel is the world's longest tunnel constructed at a height of 13,000 feet. The Arunachal Pradesh districts of West Kaming and Tawang will be connected by this double-lane, all-weather tunnel. There isn't another way to go to LAC.
