The selectors have announced the Team India squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Injured Jasprit Bumrah will not accompany the Indian cricket team to Dubai for the Champions Trophy. There were already question marks over Bumrah's inclusion in the tournament since he injured his lower back during the Sydney Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The BCCI was monitoring his rehabilitation and recent scans of the injury were also done. Finally, it has been decided to leave him out of the tournament. Apart from him, Yashasvi Jaiswal has also been dropped.

India's final squad has been announced on the last day of making alterations to the squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The BCCI has announced the inclusion of Harshit Rana in the squad in place of Bumrah for the tournament. This fast bowler all-rounder is playing for India in the ODI series with England and will now also go to Dubai.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was included in India's provisional squad announced earlier for the Champions Trophy, but he could not do anything special in his debut ODI against England, due to which he was dropped in the second ODI. At the same time, now Jaiswal has been dropped from the final squad of the Champions Trophy. Varun Chakraborty has been included in his place.

When Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar announced the team for the Champions Trophy on January 18, there was no reserve player. Now three names have been added to this list. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been dropped from the main team and included in the non-traveling reserve list. Apart from him, two other players Shivam Dubey and Mohammed Siraj have also been kept on the reserve list. However, they will not go to Dubai with the team.

India's team for ICC Champions Trophy: Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Ravindra Jadeja and Varun Chakraborty.

Non-traveling substitutes: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj and Shivam Dubey.
