itel A50 is one of the pocket-friendly handsets that arrived in the market. It hasn't been long since it was launched; that was in May. So we've had it for two to three weeks. What went right and what didn't in this period, we'll tell you right here. From our experience, whatever money is not spent on buying a high-priced device, how much value for money the entry-level phone offers can be ascertained when one hits the market. This will be evident after reading the review.

It is plain and simple in design nevertheless. Itel A50 appears to be quite sleek with rounded edges that give it a classic comfortable look. This plastic body feels solid, not in a premium way like metal and glass designs. It has a 6.6-inch LCD screen—one fairly decent type for the price. The quality is 720x1612 pixels; hence, producing an appreciable viewing experience. It makes watching videos and interacting on social media an everyday pleasure.

The phone rocks a Unisoc T603 chipset, which doesn't really meet anything heavy. But then the efficiency was good in it. It comes with 64GB of storage space and 4GB of RAM space with no hitches in performance in the daily grind. However, the phone slows down with many apps running simultaneously in the background.

The entry-level phone comes packing a gigantic battery. It's rated 5,000 mAh and charged with a 10-watt charger. Amazing battery life—it can last a whole day with perfect ease from a single charge. It merely boosts on Android 14, meaning not much bloatware coming pre-installed with its system.

A camera could, for many smartphone users, be the most important part of the smartphone. In line with the money that went into its design, it does well performance-wise but, in case you expect a very strong picture quality, you are wrong; the phone is not capable of doing that. The phone has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.

It is worth the money. The company has introduced it while keeping the rough use during everyday life in mind. This could be the right option for your parents. This phone is best for YouTube, browsing, and calling.
