iOS Users Can Now Save Stickers Without Sending Them in Latest WhatsApp Update

WhatsApp is now treating iPhone users to some of the most convenient features of Android. With the latest WhatsApp for iOS update, version 25.31.75, the platform offers a new sticker creation and saving tool. The new feature will enable users to create new stickers and add them to their collection without sending them.

This feature first appeared in the Android beta version 2.25.24.23 and was meant to make managing and organizing of stickers by users easier. iOS Users will no longer have to save a newly created sticker before sending it; instead, they are able to save it directly into their personal packs, which will make the management of stickers easier.

The new feature adds a 'Save' button next to the Send option on the sticker creation screen. Tapping it allows users to add the sticker to an existing pack or create a new one, providing better organization from the start. This update is especially useful for users who like to customize their chats with stickers, as it allows them to create custom collections without interrupting the conversation.

WhatsApp stated that this feature is being rolled out gradually on iOS, so you may not see it or may see it after an update. It was previously rolled out to some beta testers. Once fully implemented, this update will provide a consistent sticker experience on both Android and iOS, giving users more control over creating, saving, and managing their custom stickers.

How to use the feature:

• Update WhatsApp to the latest iOS version (25.31.75) from the App Store.
• Open any chat, tap the emoji icon, go to the Sticker tab, and select Create Sticker.
• Choose a photo from your gallery or take a new one.
• Crop, add text, or draw (optional) using the edit tools.
• Tap the new Save button next to Send to save the sticker instead of sending it.
• Add the sticker to an existing pack or create a new one.
• Find your saved stickers under My Stickers in the Sticker panel to use them later.
