India A qualified for the semifinals of the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 on Tuesday with a six-wicket win over Oman A. India A is the second team in Group B to reach the final four, following the already qualified Pakistan A. Oman and UAE have thereby been eliminated from the group. Pakistan won all three of their matches to top Group B with six points and a net run rate of +4.560. India A, meanwhile, finished second in the group stage, winning two out of three matches, thereby picking up four points with a net run rate of 1.979. India will now face the top team in Group A in the semi-finals, while Pakistan will face the second-placed team in Group A in the second semi-final. Chasing Oman's target of just 137 runs, India A got off to a poor start, losing Priyansh Arya at just 17. Priyansh, like in the first two matches, returned to the pavilion after scoring just 10 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi then fell to Odedra for 12 runs. Harsh Dubey, batting at number four, played a crucial role in India's victory. He reached his half-century off just 41 balls. He then played a blistering innings of 53 runs off 44 balls to lead Team India to victory. Naman Dheer scored 30, while Nehal Wadhera scored 23. For Oman, Shafiq, Odedra, Aryan, and Samay took one wicket each.
