Good news for Land Rover lovers: Price of this premium car has reduced by lakhs of rupees

Land Rover launches the updated Range Rover Velar in July 2023 with prices starting at Rs 93 lakh (ex-showroom). Its prices were increased by Rs 1.3 lakh in December and now the company has made it cheaper by Rs 6.4 lakh. At present, the starting ex-showroom price of this premium SUV of the company has become Rs 87.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Come, let us know about it.

The Range Rover Velar Facelift has undergone a few minor exterior and interior changes. This SUV features dynamic bend lighting and sleek pixel LED headlamps. It also features a revised black-themed front grille.

Simple alterations have been made at the back. It receives new scuff plates and a redesigned bumper. The new Velar will be offered in two colour options: Premium Metallic Jadar Grey and Metallic Varesein Blue. The SUV's sides and silhouette will stay the same.

Speaking of the inside, the Velar now has an infotainment system with an 11.4-inch floating touchscreen that features JLR's Pivi Pro UI. A new 'pre-drive' panel featuring Amazon Alexa voice control, audio and climate controls, and other features is also included in the upgraded Velar. The steering wheel, air vents and centre console surround now get moonlight chrome accents.

The climate control on the 2023 Velar won't be accessible through a separate touchscreen. It receives a new centre console with a wireless phone charger and a concealed storage cubby underneath. About 80% of the functions, according to Land Rover, can be completed with just two taps on the infotainment screen. Wireless charger, PM 2.5 air filter, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto are additional features.

There are two engine options available for the new Velar Dynamic in HSE. Its 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine generates 365 Nm of torque and 246 horsepower. The 2.0-litre Ingenium turbo diesel engine, which generates 420 Nm of torque and 201 horsepower, is the second engine.

The SUV gets Land Rover's Terrain Response 2 system with Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Automatic modes.
