Flight and hotel prices increased before 2025, Jaisalmer flight fares four times and Leh flight fares double

People are preparing in full swing to spend the New Year holidays. The effect of this has been that the fares of flights and hotels for major places in the country have reached the sky. These fares have increased by 50 to 100 percent compared to normal days.

Major places include Srinagar, Leh, Shimla, Kullu, Bandogra, and Jaisalmer. When the fares of flights and hotels for these places were checked on major websites, they increased tremendously as compared to normal days. For example, the fare of flights from Delhi to Srinagar is Rs 19,674 on 29-30 December. On January 1, it becomes Rs 6,000. Where a night in The Lalit Hotel also exceeds Rs 33,000. Similarly, Taj at Rs 41,300, Radisson at Rs 24,000, and in flights also, starting with the one for Delhi, fare to travel from Delhi on December 29-30 will cost Rs 15,750 while on 1 January it is lower- Rs 8,925. For Oberoi's hotel too, the price rises by more than twice and at Rs 38,518 against the normal tariffs at Radisson. The fare from Delhi to Kullu is Rs 21,809 and Rs 17,609 on 29-30 December. The same ticket is Rs 9,419 on January 1. The price of Tiara Hotel is Rs 23,000 and that of Nature Villa is Rs 27,000.

Businessmen say that tourists usually arrive on December 30. However, bookings are done much earlier. The business done in the three days from December 30 to January 1 is almost equal to one quarter.
