Gaurav Devasi’s 'Gora Badal' Set to Rival Bollywood’s Padmavat
Actor Gaurav Devasi stars in Rajput valor film 'Gora Badal', inspired by Rajasthan’s historic bravery.
A new cinematic tribute to Rajput valor is on the horizon as Rajasthan-born actor Gaurav Devasi takes center stage in the historical film Gora Badal. Set to echo the grandeur of Bollywood's Padmavat, the film is a passionate retelling of the legendary Rajput bravery that once defined an era.
In Gora Badal, Devasi plays a uniquely intense role as Aladdin, showcasing his range in a powerful performance. One gripping sequence features Khilji (played by Paresh Bhatt) hunting in the forest, only to be struck down by Aladdin’s arrow in a dramatic ambush. This act of courage leads to a series of events that portray the Rajput strategy, sacrifice, and indomitable spirit.
The story intensifies as Khilji deceitfully captures Ratan Singh under the guise of friendship, demanding that Queen Padmavati surrender herself in exchange for his release. However, the queen devises a bold plan with Rajput warriors Gora and Badal, sending palanquins seemingly carrying royal women to the enemy—only to reveal the disguised warrior Gora instead.
