'Elon Musk donated heavily to a group supporting Donald Trump', report claims

This year, in November, presidential elections are going to be held in the US. The election campaign of political parties is getting accelerated in such a situation. At a time when this concern has been raised, veteran billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has donated significantly to his opponent Donald Trump's political group 'Great America PAC' for his campaign. This claim has been made in a Bloomberg report.

According to Amar Ujala, though the group did not reveal the amount of donation, it termed it as a 'big amount'. 'The Great America PAC' will release the list of donors on July 15. This group also backed Donald Trump during the presidential election in 2016. The group was formed in the same year itself by Eric Beach, a political strategist, and veteran of presidential campaigns.

Trump is tipped to formally be confirmed as the Republican Party's candidate for the November 5 election. In March, Trump met with Musk and other wealthy donors. At the time, amid reports of the meeting, Musk posted on X, Just to clarify: I'm not making any donations to any US presidential candidates. Afterward, in May, he also rejected the reports that were being broadcast on the media, stating that Trump could provide him with the future position of advisor to the President.

This is because Musk has openly associated with the Republican Party in recent years. That affected Tesla's reputation and sales as a result since this company was his primary source of wealth. Last month Trump said, I am a big fan of electric cars. I am a fan of Elon. Trump also said that Musk does an incredible job with Tesla.
