India's star wrestler Nisha Dahiya got injured in the quarter-finals of the women's 68 kg event. On Monday, she faced North Korea's Pak Sol Gum. During this match, Nisha suffered a serious injury to her right hand due to which she had to face defeat in the match. Now national team coach Virender Dahiya has given a big statement on the injury of the female wrestler. He has blamed the North Korean player for this injury.

Virender Dahiya, while talking to news agency PTI, said that North Korean player Pak Sol Gum deliberately injured Nisha. He said, "It was 100 percent deliberate, he hurt Nisha intentionally. We saw, there was an instruction from the Korean corner after which he attacked near the wrist joint. He snatched the medal from Nisha. The way Nisha started, the medal was around her neck and it had been snatched. Nisha was brilliant in both defense and counter-attack. She had defeated the same wrestler in the Asian qualifiers."

She started crying at that time. However, the coach told Nisha that you can still win. If the score had remained at 8-8, Nisha would have reached the semi-finals.
