Amidst the political turmoil over Sanatan, controversy has increased over Bihar Education Minister Chandrashekhar's comment calling Ramcharitmanas potassium cyanide. BJP fiercely attacked the India alliance. He said that all the people of the opposition alliance are filled with poison for the Hindu religion and this is clearly visible in all their statements.
It is noteworthy that while addressing the gathering on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, the Education Minister said that there is potassium cyanide in Ramcharitmanas. So as long as it remains my objection is there and will remain there for the rest of my life. He had repeated the quatrain of Aranya Kand of Ramcharitmanas 'Pujahi Vipra Sakal Guna Heena, Shudra Na Pujhu Veda Praveena'. The Education Minister had said what is this?
BJP leader Sambit Patra attacked these controversial comments. He said that all the people of the opposition alliance are filled with poison for the Hindu religion and this is clearly visible in all their statements. He said that otherwise how can anyone compare Hinduism with any disease. He said that these people say that Ramcharitmanas is potassium cyanide. Whereas it is linked to the faith of crores of people. He said that those who have the audacity to call 'Ram' poison are questioning the basic faith of this country and hurting it. The public will boycott him.
