Big decision of the court in the case of fraud worth crores from MS Dhoni

The court has taken a big decision in the case of fraud of crores of rupees by former Indian captain MS Dhoni. A case was filed on behalf of Dhoni against the directors of a company named Arka Sports Management, alleging fraud worth crores. The court of Ranchi Judicial Magistrate Rajkumar Pandey has taken cognizance of this matter. Now summons will be issued by the court against the accused.

As per the grievance filed on January 5 by MS Dhoni's agent Seemant Lohani, also known as Chittu, Mahendra Singh Dhoni inked a contract with Arka Sports Management Company in 2017 to launch a cricket academy on a global scale. Dhoni was to receive a franchise fee from Arka Sports in addition to a portion of the profit, per the terms of the agreement between the two parties. However, he had sent the business multiple warnings for failing to abide by the terms of the contract.

Dhoni cancelled the rights granted to Arka Sports with a notice sent to it on August 15, 2021, after not hearing back from the notice. Based on this complaint, a criminal case was registered against the two key directors of the company, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das. Dhoni has said that he has suffered a loss of crores due to non-compliance with the agreement.
