Meerut medium pacer Praveen Kumar, who was a part of the Indian team in the 2000s, has exposed some players during an interview. Praveen Kumar has claimed that during his time everyone in the team used to drink, but only he was defamed. According to media reports, Praveen Kumar, a resident of Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, said during an interview that when he was part of Team India, senior players used to ask him not to drink. They are told not to do this, not to do that. While everyone did it, they were defamed that they drank PK.

When Praveen Kumar was asked in this interview whether seniors like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid had asked him not to drink? On this PK said that no, he does not want to take anyone's name on camera, but everyone knows. I was just defamed. He further said that anyone who knows me personally knows how I am. My image has not been spoiled, it has been created.

Let us tell you that Praveen Kumar made his debut for India in the ODI played against Pakistan on 18 November 2007 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. After this, he made his T20 debut in February the next year and his Test debut in 2011. At the same time, he played his last match against England on 10 August 2011 at Edgbaston. Praveen Kumar took 27 wickets in 6 Tests, 77 wickets in 68 ODIs and 8 wickets in 10 T20 Internationals for India.
