According to media reports, Praveen Kumar, a resident of Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, said during an interview that when he was part of Team India, senior players used to ask him not to drink. They are told not to do this, not to do that. While everyone did it, they were defamed that they drank PK.
When Praveen Kumar was asked in this interview whether seniors like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid had asked him not to drink? Let us tell you that Praveen Kumar made his debut for India in the ODI played against Pakistan on 18 November 2007 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. After this, he made his T20 debut in February the next year and his Test debut in 2011. At the same time, he played his last match against England on 10 August 2011 at Edgbaston. Praveen Kumar took 27 wickets in 6 Tests, 77 wickets in 68 ODIs and 8 wickets in 10 T20 Internationals for India.
