PM Modi Nigeria Visit, PM Modi: PM Modi's Nigeria visit is special in many ways because for the first time after 17 years, an Indian Prime Minister is visiting this African country. Earlier, Manmohan Singh had visited Nigeria in October 2007. During this time a strategic partnership was established between the two countries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone to African countries visit till 21 November. In addition, he has departed for Nigeria, where his tour will begin. According to Indian High Commissioner G Balasubramaniam, his visit to Nigeria is important. He said that PM Modi's Nigeria visit is very important. This is the PM's first visit to West Africa. Nigeria, the starting point of the visit, is the most populous country in the entire continent. It is one of the countries with the largest GDP.
He said that when India assumed the presidency of the G-20 last year, Prime Minister Modi had invited Nigeria as a guest country. This was the first occasion for Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria to be present on the G-20 platform. For this, he is very grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this visit, President Tinubu and Prime Minister Modi had a comprehensive discussion reviewing bilateral relations. This visit of our Prime Minister will be a follow-up visit. This will strengthen the relations between the two countries.
Shivkumar, a resident of Lagos on the PM's visit to Nigeria said that we are very anxious about the visit of the Prime Minister and want to meet the PM and boost his morale.

After visiting Nigeria, PM Modi will reach Brazil on 8-19 November. After that, from 19-21 November, Prime Minister Modi will pay a state visit to the South American country Guyana. PM Modi's trip to Guyana will be extra special because this will be the first visit of any Indian Prime Minister since 1968.
