2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition launched; Know details
2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: The 2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition has an all-black theme and will be available in all engine and transmission options.

Nissan Motor India has launched the 2025 version of the Magnite Kuro Special Edition. This is a black-themed version of this sub-compact SUV. The 2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition costs approximately Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its booking has begun at the company's official dealerships nationwide at a token charge of Rs 11,000. The new Magnite Kuro will come with all engine and transmission choices.
The title of the Kuro Edition itself speaks volumes that this model is loaded with the option of black color. 'Kuro' signifies black in Japanese. And Nissan has hit the nail perfectly on the head with complete seriousness. Aspects such as the Onyx Black paint finish, piano-black grille, resin black skid plates (front and rear), glossy roof rails, and black door handles give the car a very unique look.
The 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels add a bit of shine to the all-black look. The 'Kuro' badging on the fenders and the blacked-out LED headlamps give it a sleek, stealth look that will grab everyone's attention on the roads.
As stylish as the exterior looks, the cabin inside is equally premium and luxurious. An all-black dashboard, piano-black finished gear shift area, steering inserts, sun visors, and door trims - everything is finished in black.
Also, the company has added a Sable Black wireless charger as a standard feature and made a stealth-themed dashcam available as an optional accessory. This variant is based on the N-Connecta trim, which already has features like touchscreen infotainment, Archimage sound system, auto-dimming IRVM, auto climate control and rear AC vents.
No mechanical changes have been made in the Magnite Kuro Edition. It has the same two engine options. First, a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which gives 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. This engine comes in 5-speed manual or AMT transmission. Second, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol, which comes with 98 bhp and 160 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 5-speed manual or torque converter automatic. The company also offers the option of CNG as dealer-fitted.
Safety has also been given priority in the Magnite Kuro Edition. It has safety features like 6 airbags, ABS + EBD, ESC, traction control, brake assist, and TPMS. This makes it one of the safest SUVs in its segment.
Saurabh Watsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said that the Kuro Edition has been designed keeping in mind the feedback and preferences of the customers. After the tremendous response received for the previous Kuro Edition, this new avatar is even more premium, bold and full of features.
He also said that recently Magnite has received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP (GNCAP), which reflects the brand's commitment to safety. To celebrate this achievement, the company has also added a new metallic gray color option to the Magnite lineup. The new color will be available in Tecna, Tecna Plus and N Connecta variants.
