UGC: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has prepared a draft syllabus for PG courses which may soon be made public. There can be a one-year master's degree program for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate program with honors with research as per the recommendations made in the new National Education Policy (NEP).

Students with a four-year undergraduate degree may be allowed to pursue a one-year PG degree. As per the draft UGC norms on PG courses, all PG students can also change subjects or choose other learning options including offline, distance, online, and hybrid.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has prepared a draft syllabus for PG courses, which may soon be made public. As per the recommendations made in the new National Education Policy (NEP), Honors with Research can be a one-year master's degree program for students who have completed a four-year undergraduate program with honors.
Three courses have been designed for PG in the draft. This includes a one-year master's degree, a two-year master's degree, and a five-year integrated program. However, the four-year UG has a combination of undergraduate (Hons) and graduate (Hons with Research), credit for work experience, and emerging subjects like AI, Machine Learning, etc.
