Pakistan qualifies for Super Sixes in Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026. In a match played on Thursday, Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets. Zimbabwe, batting first, lost all its wickets in 35.5 overs, managing to score only 128 runs. In response, Pakistan got the target in 27 overs, but if Pakistan had done so in 25 overs, Zimbabwe would have been eliminated from the tournament, and Scotland would have entered the Super Sixes, but Pakistan failed to do so.

Even though the topic of Scotland's entry into the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 through the elimination of Bangladesh is being raised, the same scenario in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup against Scotland has already embarrassed Pakistani players in the world arena of cricket. Zimbabwe and Scotland have not won a single match in their respective groups. Both teams have lost two matches each, with one match abandoned due to rain.

However, when Zimbabwe faced Pakistan, they were aiming to bowl out Pakistan for 25 overs, which would have allowed Zimbabwe to advance to the Super Sixes. Had Pakistan won the match within 25 overs, Scotland would have qualified for the Super Sixes. Chasing a target of 129, Pakistan batted brilliantly for 15 overs and looked set to reach the target in the 20th over. However, Pakistan played very slowly from overs 16 to 25, achieving the target in the 27th over. This ensured Pakistan's berth in the next round, as well as Zimbabwe's Super Six qualification, but Scotland was eliminated from the World Cup based on net run rate.

Chasing the target, Pakistan had scored 88 runs for the loss of two wickets in 15 overs. For Scotland to reach the Super Six, Pakistan needed to score just 41 runs in the next 10 overs, which would have changed Scotland's fortunes and secured their place in the Super Six. However, Pakistan's batting slowed considerably after that, allowing them to reach the target of 129 in 26.2 overs. Now, England, Pakistan, and Zimbabwe have qualified for the Super Six from Group C.
