Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant's car accident was one of the most tragic incidents in recent Indian cricket history. There was suspense about whether Rishabh Pant would be able to return to professional cricket after being a victim of a fatal car accident. But, Pant never lost courage and returned to the field through IPL 2024 and is now also a part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup 2024. Pant became emotional while remembering his recovery days after the car accident on Shikhar Dhawan's talk show. He told that I could not brush my teeth for two months and I had to suffer pain for six to seven months.

Rishabh Pant, 26, has opened up about what happened to him after the horrifying car accident and the injuries he sustained. He had a knee injury that required a ligament operation in addition to multiple fractures. After 15 months of rehabilitation, he recently made a fantastic comeback from IPL 2024, despite the fact that these injuries were very serious for his career.

Rishabh Pant said that it is very important to have self-confidence while recovering from an injury because people around you say different things and you as an individual have to think about what is good for you? Pant made several revelations during the new episode of Shikhar Dhawan's talk show 'Dhawan Karenge' on JioCinema.

Rishabh Pant said that when I woke up after the car accident, I was not even sure whether I would be able to survive or not, but God gave me a new life. During that time, I could not even brush my teeth for two months and had to suffer a lot for six to seven months. I was nervous to face people in wheelchairs.

After the announcement of handing over the command of Delhi Capitals to Rishabh Pant in IPL 2024, many questions arose in the minds of people whether he will be able to bat like before? Will you be able to do wicketkeeping? But, Pant dismissed all the questions after a brilliant comeback and scored 446 runs in 13 innings at an average of 40.55 and a strike rate of 155.40.

At the same time, Rishabh Pant said about his return to the Indian team that now that I am returning to cricket, I am more excited than feeling the pressure. I feel like this is a second life, so I'm excited but also nervous.
