Meerut Mavericks captain Rinku Singh played a tempestuous innings in the 20th game of Uttar Pradesh Premier League. On Wednesday in Lucknow, Rinku Singh hammered 57 runs with a blazing approach through four sixes and three fours in 27 balls. Due to his innings, Meerut reached 233 runs within the allocated 20 overs losing four wickets.

Having won the toss at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium, captain Rinku Singh opted to bat first. Meerut Mavericks team had lost Akshay Dubey (2) wicket for a mere 12 runs. From here, Swastik Chikara attempted to manage the team by contributing 30 runs for the second wicket with Madhav Kaushik. Madhav went back to the pavilion having faced only five runs in 11 balls.

After this, Swastik Chikara scored 31 runs for the third wicket with Rituraj Sharma. Chikara scored 55 runs in 31 balls with the help of four sixes and as many fours. The team had scored 73 runs after losing three wickets in 9.2 overs. From here, Captain Rinku Singh took charge. He put the team in a strong position by scoring 94 runs for the fourth wicket with Rituraj Sharma.
