PM Modi gifting Bihar projects worth Rs 6640 crore today; know more about Jamui visit
PM Modi: Other projects to be launched by the Prime Minister include 10 Eklavya Model Residential Schools and 300 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras. These will provide new opportunities for education and employment to tribal youth.

Today on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Jamui in Bihar. The 150th anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda's birth is celebrated on Tribal Pride Day. Prime Minister Modi will launch and lay the foundation stones for a number of development projects worth over Rs 6,640 crore on this special day.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram said in Jamui on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two Tribal Freedom Fighter Museums and two Tribal Research Institutes to honor the contribution of tribal freedom fighters. Apart from this, he will also attend the Griha Pravesh program of 11,000 houses built under PM-Janman to improve the quality of life of tribal communities.
Other projects to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister include 10 Eklavya Model Residential Schools and 300 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras. These would open up new windows of learning and employment opportunities for tribal boys and girls. An effort at ensuring health care access in far-flung tribal areas by the introduction of 23 mobile medical units and 30 more units would be an added initiative in that direction. The whole government approach of the Government of India is based on this visit by the Prime Minister to promote inclusive and sustainable development in tribal areas.
There are unprecedented security arrangements for PM Modi's program. The Special Protection Group has veiled the venue at Ballapur Maidan. Along with this, senior officials of district administration and police are constantly overseeing the law and order and security affairs at the venue. Along with this, three helipads, German hangar tents, and seating arrangements for about 25,000 people have also been made at the venue.
