Now you will be able to add your photos to your friend's Instagram post, the company will introduce this special feature soon

Instagram keeps introducing many new features for its users. Recently the company has introduced many new features in the popular photo sharing app. Last week, the Meta-owned social media platform was testing a dedicated feed that only shows posts from verified users. Let us tell you about this new feature in more detail.

This new feature of Instagram will let your friends add more photos or videos to your post after it goes live. Instagram head Adam Mosseri said that the platform is testing the new feature, but has not given a rollout date for it.

According to him, this feature will let users invite their friends to add them to their Carousel Post on Instagram. Before posting a carousel, you can turn on the ability for your followers to submit a photo or video.

Last week, Mosseri said Instagram was testing a dedicated feed that would only show posts from verified users. Currently, in addition to the default Instagram feed filled with ads, Reels, and other posts, users can switch to the Following feed to see only posts from people they follow. There is also a Favorites feed that shows posts from users who have been marked as favorites in the app.

Instagram has faced criticism in recent times over issues of privacy, security, and its impact on the mental health of users, especially children. Last week, Reuters reported that 33 states in the US were suing Meta, accusing the company of misleading the public and intentionally making its social media platforms like Instagram more addictive to children and teens.
