IAF: Defence Ministry and Indian manufacturers inked a major deal concerning the Sukhoi-30 MKI, know why it is special

Regarding the Russian fighter aircraft Sukhoi-30 MKI, the Central Government and an Indian manufacturing company have inked a significant agreement. The Defence Ministry reportedly signed a contract on March 1st to modernise the simulators used for Sukhoi-30 MKI training.
The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, leading the Indian Air Force, has provided information indicating that this upgrade will include operational training capabilities, such as the addition of indigenous weapons to the Sukhoi-30 MKI. Pilots will find it much simpler to fly with Sukhoi as a result.
It is noteworthy that the Air Force is also working on a plan to upgrade the fleet of Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft under a project, in which 84 of its aircraft will be upgraded with indigenous weapon systems, advanced radar and avionics.
